The Sun Riders Miata Club trip to St Augustine. A group of 11 cars with 21 Sun Riders made the journey for our weekend getaway. An historic city, great people, good food and fun times made this one great trip.

Our trip to St Augustine was lead by John Smith. Nothing but back country roads on the way up. Here, the line of cars makes its way through the Ocala National forest.
Arrival at our hotel, time to unpack, take a quick dip in the pool and get ready for dinner.
Our first nights dinner was at the Raintree. A St Augustine hot spot for great food.
There's alot to see and do in St Augustine. Trolly tours, Ripleys, The Alligator Farm, shopping, eating, ghost tours and the Lighthouse were just some of the things on our list.
St Augustine is the 3rd most haunted place in the US according to our tourguide. This picture was taken upstairs at Harrys Bar and Grill. The ghost of the lady, who used to live in the building, still walks these rooms. Can you see her ?
Time for dinner after a long day of activities. Located on the marsh lands of the intercoastal waterway, Saltwater Cowboys is a hard place to find but well worth the trip.
What a great place.

The famous lighthouse at St Augustine. Most of the group made the trip up the 219 steps to the top..... I was told it was a great view.
The grounds of the lighthouse were picturesque. The massive oaks made for a beautiful place.
