Woody and Rosemary put together a great ride and lunch. Our original destination was the Nav-A-Gator in Punta Gorda, but a last minute change worked out well as we turned our wheels a little further south and headed for Harpoon Harrys at Fishermans Wharf.
The weather was perfect. Our ride took us on some roads that we never knew exisited. South to Ellenton .. East towards Zolfo Springs.. then south to Arcadia and onward through the woods. Civilization at last as the Walmart signaled we were getting close.
We made it. Punta Gorda was hard hit by hurricane Charlie a few years back. It looks like most everything is finally back in order. A boat show at Fishermans Wharf and an arts and crafts show in the downtown area were going on when we arrived.
Fishermans Wharf has dozens of unique shops. At the very end, on the water, is Harpoon Harrys.
Here's most of the group. Outside of Harry's, a perfect photo opportunity.
Decisions, decisions.. Whats good here ?... Everything !!
Say Cheeeeeeeeeese... now place your order... seafood, wraps, burgers, salads and a cold ice tea.
With full bellies, it's time to hit the road for the ride back home.
Everyone had a great time, thanks Woody and Rosemary for putting together a fun ride with all our Sun Rider friends.
